After only 20 days of action into the young NBA season, the association seems to have taken a turn to favor volume scorers, so much that for the first time in history, there are five players who have scored 300-plus points after their first 10 games of the season.

We'll break them down for you here.

What if I told you there's a new Fab Five… Created for @statmuse

DeMar DeRozan (Toronto Raptors) 33.2 points per game

The Compton native has been an unstoppable force of nature, hitting the 30-point mark in eight of 10 games this season. Most impressively, he's done it without one of the biggest weapons in the game — the three-point shot, making only 5-of-19 from beyond this season.

Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder) 32.0 points per game

A man who had played Robin to Kevin Durant‘s Batman for the past eight seasons, Westbrook has unleashed his own superhero-like performances to the tune of 32 points, 9.7 rebounds, and 9.9 assists per game for the year.

The UCLA product is making a career-high 1.9 three-pointers per game and going to the line 11.6 times per contest.

Anthony Davis (New Orleans Pelicans) 30.5 points per game

The recently injured Davis has had a bounce-back season with monster numbers to boot. He's carried the workload at both ends of the floor with averages of 30.5 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 2.9 blocks per game. Those numbers should start translating into wins for the Pelicans with the impending returns of Jrue Holiday on Friday and Tyreke Evans later this month.

James Harden (Houston Rockets) 30.3 points per game

The Beard has been absolutely ridiculous this season, taking his “points guard” label to heart and not only providing the scoring punch, but getting his new teammates involved with 12.6 assists per game. Harden is averaging career-highs across the board, keeping his team afloat in the ruthless Western Conference with a 6-4 record.

Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers) 29.8 points per game

Lillard hasn't been the most consistent in recent games, scoring only 19 points in two of the last six games and an eight-point dud in a blowout loss to the L.A. Clippers — but when he's been on, he's caught fire.

The 6-foot Oakland native has shown very deep range in his threes this season and has been aggressive to the rim with 9.6 free-throw attempts per contest.
