With the start of the regular season just around the proverbial bend, teams all around the NBA landscape are beginning the process of slimming their rosters to 15 men, including the Oklahoma City Thunder, who have reportedly waived Bryce Alford, K.J. McDaniels, and Richard Solomon.

Alford, now 23 years of age, appeared in three preseason games with the Thunder this year, averaging 2.3 points and 0.7 rebounds in 3.0 minutes per outing.

Alford spent four years at UCLA, where he earned First-Team All-Pac-12 honors as a senior. In four seasons with the Bruins, the crafty guard racked up averages of 13.6 points on 40.5 percent shooting from the field (39.7 percent from beyond the arc), 3.8 assists, and 2.8 rebounds in 32.0 minutes per contest.

McDaniels, 25, played in two preseason match-ups with the Thunder this year, recording averages of 3.5 points and 3.0 rebounds in 8.2 minutes.

McDaniels, a 6-6 forward out of Clemson, has spent time with several teams around the NBA, including the Thunder, Philadelphia 76ers, Houston Rockets, and Brooklyn Nets. As a member of the Portland Trail Blazers during this year's NBA Summer League tournament, McDaniels was named MVP of the championship game.

Solomon, 26, did not appear in a game during this preseason campaign. He spent four years with The University of California Golden Bears, where he earned All-Pac-12 honorable mention honors. After going undrafted in 2014, the 6-11 forward spent time in the G-League, as well as overseas.

The Thunder will kick off their regular season campaign on October 16th with a match-up against the Golden State Warriors inside Oracle Arena. Tip-off is set for 10:30 p.m. EST with TNT having live broadcast coverage.
