There seems to be no stopping the Minnesota Timberwolves from further exploring options in hopes of fortifying their roster.

Already a decided winner this offseason after adding, via trade, Jimmy Butler and signing free agents Jeff Teague and Taj Gibson, Minnesota’s front office is reportedly taking long and hard looks at some of the available players on the market, particularly another guard and a deep-threat wing player.

Head coach Tom Thibodeau obviously has a lot of love left for his former Chicago Bulls players. With former Bulls Butler and Gibson injecting some Windy City vibe into the Timberwolves, the possibility of adding Aaron Brooks into the mix would feel like a mini-Chicago reunion but would also solve the Timberwolves’ need for a backup guard. Brooks played two seasons for the Bulls from 2014-2016 and averaged 9.6 points and 2.9 assists per game to go with a 37.6 shooting percentage from beyond the arc.

Anthony Morrow and Alan Anderson, meanwhile, are two heavily offensive-minded veterans who both have solid three-point shooting abilities. Morrow has a career 41.7 percent shooting percentage from the outside, while Anderson’s is at 34.4 percent.

Minnesota averaged the least three-points made per game last season with just 7.3 on 34.9 percent shooting.
