When first looking at the second-round matchup between the Rockets and Spurs, on paper, it looks like San Antonio has an edge at the power forward spot. The Spurs have LaMarcus Aldridge after all, while the Rockets have Ryan Anderson. Aldridge is a five-time All-Star and averaged 17.3 points and 7.3 rebounds during the regular season. Anderson on the other hand, is mainly a three-point shooter and is a rather poor defender.

Yet in the first half of Game 1 on Monday, it was Anderson who was winning the matchup at power forward.

Thanks to their fast pace and three-point shooting, Houston led at the half 69-39. Anderson had 11 points and five rebounds in the first two quarters, while Aldridge had just four points on 2-of-6 shooting.

He did have five rebounds as well but Aldridge looked lost at times and was thoroughly getting outplayed by Anderson and the Rockets. Aldridge was also a -31 at the half, which shows how poorly he was playing.

Aghast and angry with Aldridge's play, Twitter unmercifully expressed their frustration with the Spurs big man:

A rough first half for Aldridge and unless he is able to shake out of his funk, the Spurs could be in trouble against the Rockets.
