As Jimmy Butler continued to torch the Boston Celtics on Tuesday night, the Boston faithful couldn't help but wonder what could've been for their team if they pursued the Chicago Bulls star, and brought him into their fold before the trade deadline in February.

After finishing Game 2 of their first round series with 22 points, eight rebounds and eight assists, fans took to their Twitter accounts to recall an old article from James Herbert of CBS Sports. It was about the C's not pulling the trigger on the potential trade that would've landed them the All-Star forward, as they didn't want to part ways with Jae Crowder.

The Twitterverse took a shot at the Celtics for what appears to be the wrong decision, especially with them currently down 2-0 to the eighth-seeded Bulls team.

While Crowder is not playing that bad in the first two games of the series, he is certainly producing less than Butler, and the impact they have during games is also on different levels. These disparities only add up to the questions the Celtics fans have now on why they did not push harder to acquire his services, despite having a lot of assets to move.

The Bulls may have won both games in Boston, but the Celtics' players are a veteran group that understands that four victories are needed to win a best-of-seven series. If they'll be able to turn their fortunes around and still advance to the next round, they'll be able to silence a lot of their doubters and make their decision appear to be the right one.
