For most of Sunday, everything appeared to be breaking the Colts‘ way. Then, within a matter of minutes, it all fell apart.

Indianapolis did their part yesterday afternoon. Needing a victory to keep their AFC South title hopes alive, the Colts dominated the Vikings in Minnesota to the tune of a 34-6 victory. But, they still needed some help.

After a close loss to the Texans last week, the Colts sat a game behind both Houston and the Tennessee Titans for 1st place in the division. If they finish tied with Tennessee, they own the tiebreaker by virtue of beating them twice.

The Colts' game finished earlier than the Titans', who were busy playing in frigid temperatures in Kansas City against the AFC West-leading Chiefs. As Andrew Luck began his press conference, the Titans embarked on a treacherous march down the field, hoping to get in range for a game-winning field goal.

Against all odds, Marcus Mariota managed to get Tennessee to Kansas City's 36-yard line with a few seconds to play. A helpless Luck watched on from there:

Andrew kept his composure, but for a brief moment, the disappointment on his face was glaring.

With the Titans win as well as a comeback victory by the Texans, the Colts' chances of making the playoffs took a significant hit.
