DeAndre Jordan is one of the strongest shot-blocking presences around the rim, but as a perimeter defender, he's not quite as… polished per se.

The L.A. Clippers big man apparently wasn't very aware of his own capabilities when facing the Utah Jazz in Game 3, challenging star forward Gordon Hayward to a one-on-one matchup, only to get easily dusted by the 6-foot-8 swingman.

Jordan committed a similar crime trying to stay close to lefty sniper Joe Ingles, who easily drained a corner three after looking down at the three-point line.

Unlike Hayward, the Aussie followed with a bit of smack talk, letting him know he was out of position trying to guard the perimeter.

Jordan will need to play heavier minutes with the absence of Blake Griffin, who is out for the remainder of the playoffs with a toe injury. His defense will be key for the Clippers success (as long as he stays away from the perimeter) as they take a 2-1 lead into Salt Lake City on Sunday.
