Tonight's matchup between the high-powered Golden State Warriors and the hot three-point shooting Houston Rockets had all the makings of a game that could easily reach the 120's. As it turns out, the game did, it just took a pair of overtimes to get there. The game featured big plays from superstars, an NBA-record 88 combined three-point attempts, and a kick.

Over the past couple of months, Warriors' forward Draymond Green has taken a lot of heat for his violent flailing of the arms and legs in an attempt to draw a foul. It cost the Warriors dearly in the NBA Finals, and it cost them again tonight.

Late in the second overtime with the Rockets up 126-123, Green gathered an offensive and was fouled on a layup attempt by Houston's James Harden. After drawing the foul, however, Green's leg, which was flailing at the same height as his head, connected with Harden's face as it was going down.

Green was whistled for a flagrant foul, and after making one-of-two free throws for the foul on the shot attempt, Harden made both flagrant free throws. That was followed up by an Eric Gordon short jumper in the lane, which gave the Rockets a 130-124 lead with 1:53 remaining.

There's no telling what would've happened if Green didn't get the flagrant foul, as the two free throws made by Harden contributed to the huge swing that eventually helped Houston halt Golden State's 12-game winning streak.

The Rockets are on to Denver to take on the Nuggets on the back end of their back-to-back set. Golden State will host the Phoenix Suns on Saturday night.
