Following an NBA-record 73-9 season, the Golden State Warriors started the season a 2-3 preseason favorite to win the 2016-17 NBA title. Fresh off a 67-15 season with the addition of Kevin Durant, the Warriors are now an even stronger 1-2 favorite to get their second title in three seasons, according to the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook via ESPN's Ben Fawkes.

The next closest are the Cleveland Cavaliers at 7-2 (+350), a vast drop-off from first to second favorite, followed by the San Antonio Spurs at 9-1 (+900).

The fall gets even worse from third-best on, with no other team having any better than 20-1 odds and nine teams having 100-1 odds of worse.

According to ESPN's BPI, the Warriors have a 99 percent chance to beat the Portland Trail Blazers in the first round and are the -400 favorites to come out of the Western Conference, followed by the Spurs at +450.

The race in the East has the Cavaliers as the -250 favorites to grab the conference crown, followed by the Boston Celtics (+450), Washington Wizards (+700) and Toronto Raptors (+800).
