Golden State Warriors' newest consultant Zaza Pachulia is optimistic about the ongoing recovery of All-Star guard Klay Thompson.

In an interview with NBC Sports' Logan Murdoch, Pachulia said that Thompson is in good spirits and that he's not rushing anything at the moment.

“I know he's in good spirits. He's enjoying his time. I'm sure he's feeling better because I saw his dance moves at the [Chicago Cubs] game.”

Thompson is expected to miss almost the entire regular season due to the torn ACL he suffered in Game 6 of the NBA Finals. He believes that he can return in time for the playoffs to help the Dubs, but he hasn't given an exact timetable as to when he'll step back into the court.

The Warriors are no longer seen by many as a legitimate title contender, especially after lost guys like Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala, Shaun Livingston, and Jordan Bell during the offseason. Still, the team is confident that they can shock the world once again, especially since they have retained the Big 3 of Thompson, Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green.

If Klay will be able to play at 80 percent once he returns, the Warriors have a legitimate shot to do damage in the playoffs. Aside from the Splash Brothers, they have also added another prolific scoring guard in D'Angelo Russell, and that makes them an even more dangerous team from behind the arc.

It is always a good thing to know that someone who suffered a career-altering injury is doing fine, especially if that individual means a lot to his team. In Klay's case, Pachulia's update gives Warriors fans more reason to be positive about the upcoming season as they hope to rebuild their dynasty with a new-look team and a new home in Chase Center.
