Former UCLA head coach Jim Mora made headlines for his enigmatic comments regarding quarterback Josh Rosen. However, he has since made the effort to clarify his thoughts on Rosen's potential at the next level.

There has been some concern over Rosen's personality both on and off the field. More responded to the criticisms by praising his former quarterback with a post on Twitter:

“Those that question [Rosen] and his toughs, competitiveness and love of the game are so far off anything I’ve seen in 6+ years knowing this man,” Mora said on Twitter. “He’s the real deal, he has it all, he will be a great one, he will win championships. . . . I’ve had the amazing fortune of being around 24 members of the Pro Football HOF, I believe we may see Josh Rosen enshrined one day. A lot of work to do, a lot of games/championships to win, but he has the qualities to do it.”

Mora had initially suggested that Rosen can “get bored” at times if he is not challenged enough. Although some have taken this as a slight at his former player, he insisted that it was indicative of how knowledgeable he is when it comes to understanding schemes. Regardless, it is clear that More has felt the need to solidify his stance on Rosen's prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Despite Mora's praise, it is still a bit far-fetched to assume he will accomplish all the aforementioned honors. Especially since Rosen never won any a championship in any capacity at the college level.

That said, it is still encouraging to see him make the effort to boost Rosen's stock just a few days ahead of the draft. However, perhaps it is something he should have been doing from the start of the whole process.

Regardless, there is still plenty of speculation as to where he might go. Some have touted him as the best quarterback in the draft while others project he may even potentially slide out of the top-10.
