During the New York Knicks‘ media day event Monday in New York City, Derrick Rose answered questions from reporters about the upcoming season, when questions came up regarding his pending rape trial.

Rose claims he didn't harm anyone, insisting his innocence.

I ain't do anything wrong

Not only did he say he is innocent, but says he isn't worried about trial to the point of distraction.

The case dates back to 2013 when a woman accused Rose and his friends of raping her while she was drunk.

Rose was then asked about how he is handling the entire situation, because not only is he starting over on a new team at a crucial point in his career, but the case proceeds it.

I’ve been handling it pretty good, I think. I really haven’t been thinking about it. I’m thinking about the team more than anything.

He also claims he hasn't spoken to anyone regarding the case although the LAPD says they are investigating him on alleged criminal charges.

I haven’t talked to anyone and this is my first time hearing about it. But once again, I’m not worried about it. I feel like I ain’t do anything wrong.
I can’t think about a case that I feel like I’m innocent in, where I feel like I ain’t do anything wrong. Like I said. And I can’t let that distract me with the year I have ahead of me.

The trail is set to begin October 4th and is expected to cut into his time at training camp.
