It is the end of the three-game series as the Arizona Diamondbacks and St. Louis Cardinals face off. It is time to continue our MLB odds series with a Diamondbacks-Cardinals prediction, pick, and how-to-watch.

Game three of the series will be taking place on Wednesday afternoon. In game one, the Cardinals took the win. The Diamondbacks struck first, with two runs in the second inning, and then another one in the fifth. Still, Lars Nootbaar would drive in two in the sixth, Paul Goldschmidt would home in the seventh to tie it, and it would remain tied to the bottom of the ninth. There, Nolan Gorman hit a two-run shot, to walk off the game.

Game two of the series will be on Tuesday night. It will be Tommy Henry on the mound for the Diamondbacks. He is 0-1 with a 6.87 ERA. The Cardinals will send Steven Matz to the mound. He is 1-1 with a 3.60 ERA.

Why The Diamondbacks Will Cover The Spread/Win

The Diamondbacks are first in the majors in runs scored while sitting eighth in batting average, fourth in on-base percentage, and tenth in slugging percentage.  Ketel Marte has been great this year. He is hitting .330 on the year with a .378 on-base percentage. He has seven doubles and five home runs this year. Marte has scored 21 times this year while driving in 14 runs. Leading the team in RBIs is Lourdes Gurriel Jr. He comes into the game hitting .284 on the year. He also has a .340 on-base percentage. Gurriel had four doubles and five home runs, with 15 runs scored while driving in 21 runs.

Christian Walker is also having a solid year. He is hitting .247 with a .374 on-base percentage. He has two doubles and three home runs for 13 RBIs and 18 runs scored. Further, Eugenio Suarez is having a solid year as well. He had hit .247 with a .327 on-base percentage. He had five doubles and two home runs, good for 16 RBIs and 16 runs scored. Corbin Carroll is also having some solid moments this year. While he is hitting just .215 he is getting on base at a .324 rate. He has stolen eight bases this year and would score 13 times this year.

The Diamondback's pitching is 16th in team ERA while sitting 18th in WHIP and 25th in opponent in opponent batting average. It is Jordan Montgomery going to the mound for the Diamondbacks. He is 1-0 with a 1.50 ERA and a .67 WHIP. He has made one start this ear, giving up one run in six innings on a solo home run. Only Willson Contreras is the only member of the Cardinals to have faced Montgomery. He had eight at-bats, with just one walk and no hits.

He is hitting .286 but with a .40-8 on-base percentage.  Contreras has six doubles and two home runs, good for seven RBIs. He has also scored nine times this year. Meanwhile, Masyn Winn is having a solid year. He is hitting .323 on the year with a .389 open base percentage.e He has two triples and three doubles, leading to six RBIs. Winn has also stolen four bases and scored eight times.

Nolan Arenado has been driving in runs this year. He is second on the team with 11 RBIs, while hitting .289 on the year. He has six doubles and a home run while scoring seven times. The team leader in RBIs is Brendan Donovan. He is hitting at .202m but with four doubles, a triple, and two home runs, he has 12 RBIs and 10 runs scored this year.

Cardinals pitching is 11th in team WRA while sitting 19th in wHIP and 23rd in opponent batting average. It will be Kyle Gibson on the mound for the Cardinals in this one. He is 1-2 with a 5.04 ERA. Last time out, he was solid, giving up just three hits and one run in six innings of work. Current members of the Diamondbacks have 92 at-bats against Gibson, hitting .250 with a .310 on-base percentage. They have three home runs and 15 RBIs as well.
