When LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat in 2010, they formed one of the best trios in NBA history and instantly turned the franchise into a championship contender.

However, a lot of questions surrounded the team especially on how three superstars will co-exist with one another and who will have to change his game more in order to make it all work. Recently, Wade admitted that he changed his more than James and also gave credit to Bosh for the sacrifices he made during their tenure in South Beach.

“I definitely changed mine more. It's not even a conversation. There's no conversation to have. I definitely had to change mine more.”

“We all knew the sacrifice that was going to be [made]. Obviously, you sit down and you talk about playing together. You think you know what's [going to happen], you try to cover things in that moment, but then once you start playing together you realize it's harder than what you thought. But we all knew we had to sacrifice. Chris Bosh, too. He's somebody who they don't talk about, he had to sacrifice a lot too. But at the end of the day, we sacrificed points, article hits, but what we gained was championships, friendships and brotherhoods that last a lifetime. So I'm sure if we could do it all over again we'd do it exactly the same way.”

Wade's acceptance of his new role back then certainly paid dividends for him and his All-Star teammates as they were able to make four consecutive trips to the finals and won two championships along the way. Even if they are all on different paths now, those experiences will remain with them and they'll be able to bring it to their current teams as they push for more trophies in the future.
