Get ready, Fortnite fans. Billie Eilish is set to be the new icon of Fortnite Festival Season 3. It's like Coachella for video game fans.

Variety reports that the season will run through June 13 and sounds off today. Before her, other musicians, such as the Weekend, Ariana Grande, and Lady Gaga, had the honor. The festival has been around since December 2023 and is a free-to-play rhythmic game. It's similar to the game Rock Band and allows up to three players to perform a licensed soundtrack of popular songs and Fortnite originals.

During the fest, players can unlock new outfits with a theme, such as playable tracks and instruments — like the Lavatronk Bass. Some jam tracks include Happier Than Ever, Therefore I Am, and All the Good Girls Go to Hell—obviously, a rocking good time.

The Grammy-winning singers' Green Roots outfit will be available. For 1,800 V-Bucks, you can get it in the Festival Pass Premium Rewards Track. It includes jam tracks Friday I'm in Love by the Cure, Youngblood by 5 Seconds of Summer, Oxytocin by Eilish, and Maps by Maroon 5.

Beyond that, gamers can purchase items, such as emotes. This includes putting your spin on the stage with a Spinback Emote, which puts the mic in your hands.

To get to the action, when you enter the Lobby of a Fortnite Festival experience, you just head over to Festival Pass in the top navigation.

Also, the Fortnite website indicates how you can make content for YouTube. There's a Support-A-Creator program where you can host VOD content featuring tracks by Eilish on YouTube. The Jam Tracks change each week on Thursdays at 10 am ET.

As for Eilish, she's no stranger. Her name started surfacing around 1019 when her debut album, When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?, came out. From there, she won nine Grammys and two Oscars. Her last win was in March when she took home the prize for What Was I Made For? for Best Original Song from the Barbie movie.

About Fortnite

According to Digital Trends, Fortnite is just a well-known game, as it's the most popular game in the world. At its core, it's a battle royale game developed by Epic Games. Players drop into a map solo or with a team, along with 99 other players. Upon landing, they have to scramble to get weapons and items while working their way to the center of the map. The last player standing wins the match.

It was released in 2017 and was originally only available on Xbox One, PC, Mac, and PlayStation 4. However, that quickly changed and became available to everyone in July of 2017.

Exploring Fortnite Festival Season 3 with Billie Eilish onboard will be an awesome experience. Make sure to do it all before the fest ends in June.
