Despite facing an 0-2 deficit against the defending champion Cleveland Cavaliers, Jeff Teague remains positive that his team can still bounce back and upset their first round opponents.

The Indiana Pacers point guard shared his team's belief, via Alex Kennedy of Hoops Hype, and recalled what they did to finish the regular season. He said he thinks they can replicate that in the playoffs to send shockwaves around the league by eliminating the mighty Cavs team.

“We have to play with an edge defensively, get out and run, and keep playing hungry. That’s what we did to close the season [with five straight wins]. We still have a chance to shock the world.”

Teague has proven in the past that he is one of the better point guards in the NBA. Only two seasons ago, he was named an All-Star during his days with the Atlanta Hawks. This year, he had another solid campaign with averages of 15.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 7.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game in his first season playing for his hometown team.

They might be in a deep hole given the lead the Cavaliers have against them, but if Teague plays at his best and runs the plays of head coach Nate McMillan almost perfectly from here on out, it will indeed give the Pacers a chance to complete their quest to continue making a lot of noise in this year's playoffs.
