The New York Knicks are charging full-speed ahead in the NBA Playoffs after swiping two games against the Indiana Pacers at Madison Square Garden in the past few days. The Knicks are a media darling from the Big Apple to the West Coast with Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart's heroics taking center stage.

Now a sensational Knicks duo of two past and present players is taking aim at Jimmy Butler comments that appear to have rubbed them the wrong way.

The video was posted as Tom Thibodeau's bonkers playoff strategy was discussed in-depth. Knicks forward OG Anunoby's hamstring issue was met with internal pessimism as his Game Three status was revealed.

Butler previously took a verbal shot at Josh Hart of the Knicks while stating that New York would be ‘at home' if he had been able to play for Miami. Hart and former Knicks star John Starks responded in a podcast video that included a retort to Butler's controversial comments.

Starks, Hart Fire Back at Jimmy Butler

Starks and Hart got together for a podcast during which they fired back at Butler's comments.

“Why's he saying me? That's not even my matchup,” Hart said on the podcast known as ‘Roommates.'

Hart added that OG Anunoby, currently dealing with a hamstring injury, would've drawn the assignment of ‘Jimmy Buckets' in the event of a Knicks vs. Heat series. That's when Starks chimed in by saying that Butler would have his hands full with the athletic, high-flying New York forward.

Knicks, Pacers Renew Hostilities on Friday at 7 p.m.

The Knicks and Pacers are set for a 7 p.m. tip-off in Indianapolis on Friday with OG Anunoby listed as out and Jalen Brunson listed as questionable for the game. The Pacers have been listed as 6.5 point favorites for the game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, which opened in 1999 to replace the historically great Market Square Arena in that city's downtown area.

With both Brunson and Anunoby ailing, the Knicks will need all hands on deck to compete with and beat what should be a fired-up Pacers team that recently fired a complain of 78 missed calls over the course of the first two games in NYC.

The Knicks' Brunson has averaged a staggering 35.6 point per game and over eight assists in the playoffs so far, which led an interviewer to ask Warriors forward Draymond Green if he is now the best point guard in the NBA, a question Green seemed upset about.

The fact that Brunson is in the conversation is enough proof positive that he is a bona fide superstar and the Knicks are on their way to another memorable postseason finish, win, lose, or draw, something that can't be said for Butler and the Heat.
