As the trade deadline draws near, the Los Angeles Lakers, New York Knicks, and Toronto Raptors are keeping themselves busy on the phone in hopes of striking a massive deal.

If things come to fruition, the Lakers may end up with Cam Reddish and Alec Burks, the Knicks could welcome Goran Dragic to their fold, and the Raptors stand as the next potential destination of Talen Horton-Tucker and Nerlens Noel, per Michael Scotto of HoopsHype.

The Lakers and Knicks are struggling as of writing. They're hard-pressed to make some changes on their roster in hopes of righting the ship. On the other hand, the red-hot Raptors—winners of seven straight—look to bolster their lineup to join the upper-ranked East teams in a tight positioning battle.

Reddish found himself in an awkward situation with the Knicks as it's been rumored that head coach Tom Thibodeau wasn't in favor of acquiring him in the first place. He could get a fresh start with the Lakers, but the pressure will be much greater.

Horton-Tucker was previously viewed as an important future piece for the Lakers but has fallen out of grace as the season went on. He could risk being buried in the Raptors' deep swingman rotation if this trade materializes.

Lastly, the Knicks, despite looking clueless on how to maximize Kemba Walker, are potentially adding a more natural court general with better playoff experience in Dragic.

There are plenty of moving pieces in this rumored trade, and a lot could still happen from now until the deadline. One thing that's certain at this point is these teams will continue to scramble for ways to improve their lineups before 3:00 PM EST.
