New York Yankees first baseman Anthony Rizzo had a big day on Sunday against the Kansas City Royals, going 4-for-4 with a home run and two RBI, and he apparently changed his walk-up song to a Taylor Swift song to shake things up.

“Taylor Swift, it's her summer, really,” Anthony Rizzo said, via Awful Announcing. “She's helping the economy in every city she goes.”

Rizzo had been struggling since May, not hitting a home run since then. It was a long drought. After hitting the home run on Sunday, Rizzo's teammates gave him the silent treatment, like teams often do when a player hits his first MLB home run.

The Yankees offense has struggled mightily since Aaron Judge got hurt, and Rizzo's struggles hurt a lot. He was supposed to be one of the cornerstones of the lineup outside of Aaron Judge. The Yankees hope this is the start of a hot streak, as they will need him to perform to his usual standard to make the playoffs.

The wild card race is tight in the American League. The Yankees are two games back of the Toronto Blue Jays for the last playoff spot, and the Yankees came into Sunday tied with the Boston Red Sox in the standings.

It will be interesting to see if Rizzo can keep this going over the next couple of weeks as the trade deadline approaches and Judge makes his eventual return to the lineup. The Yankees need that to happen if they want to make the playoffs.
