Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders made it clear that he was not re-negotiating his contract this offseason. This could be a good thing since new head coach Vic Fangio plans to get his money's worth out of him.

The Broncos have made some significant changes this offseason. According to Ryan O'Halloran of The Denver Post, Fangio hopes Sanders can maintain his status as Denver's go-to receiver:

“Hopefully it'll be a major role for us. Emmanuel's been a highly productive receiver in the league for a long time. He was having an excellent year last year with the Broncos. We expect him to be back full speed.”

Sanders will be happy to hear that the Broncos have some big plans for him this offseason. There has been plenty of speculation regarding his future amidst their recent changes. However, it appears that he will be heavily involved in the offense moving forward.

Denver's lackluster offense once again proved to be the downfall of their season. The Broncos were hoping that the arrival of quarterback Case Keenum would help get them back to the postseason, however, it did not take long to realize that was not going to be the case.

Despite their struggles, Sanders still managed to produce some strong numbers. He finished the 2018 campaign with 868 yards and four touchdowns on 71 catches in 12 games.

The Broncos have now moved on to veteran quarterback Joe Flacco to help lead this offense.

With Flacco in desperate need of a safety net in Denver, it is safe to say that the team will to pick up his option this offseason.
