The Arizona Cardinals are 3-3-1 in the first seven weeks of the season and teams have shown interest in trading for Patrick Peterson. Despite multiple teams inquiring about the All-Pro corner, Arizona isn't willing to move him ahead of the trade deadline per Jeremy Fowler.

Among the teams interested, the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles have both gauged the Cardinals' interest in a trade. However, both teams have been denied the opportunity to negotiate a deal.

The NFL trade deadline takes place on October 29th; with teams clamoring to try and improve their rosters. Therefore, there's no surprise that certain teams are calling around to gather a list of who is available.

The Cardinals are at the bottom of the NFC West with a 3-3-1 record. Even though most people don't view Arizona as a playoff contender, Kliff Kingsbury isn't quitting on this season just yet.

As for Peterson, the veteran cornerback returned to the lineup in Week 7 after serving a six-game suspension that he received during the offseason. In his first game back, he was able to combine for seven tackles, a forced fumble, and a sack.

With Jalen Ramsey already being shipped to the Los Angeles Rams, Peterson has become the most coveted option at the cornerback position. Peterson is amid the second-to-last year on his current contract and is due nearly $20 million over his final two years.

Nevertheless, with him still being 29-years-old, there are teams who are willing to part ways with draft picks for his services. Unless the Cardinals get an absolutely irrefutable offer, it doesn't seem as if Peterson will be playing anywhere else in the near future.
