The Miami Dolphins offense has endured its fair share of struggles throughout the 2018 NFL season. It appears to have taken a toll on wide receiver Kenny Stills.

Still has been notably quiet over the last several games. According to Armando Salguero of the Miami Herald, he recently voiced his frustration with his lack of involvement:

“I couldn't tell you exactly why I'm not getting more targets. I can tell you I'm getting open.”

“There are other guys open on plays, too, that aren't getting hit.”

“I can't throw the ball to myself.”

Still, he added that it will take a team effort to improve on offense, via ESPN's Cameron Wolfe.

Kenny Stills just clarified he wasn't referring to Ryan Tannehill or Brock Osweiler with this comment. He just said he literally can't throw the ball to himself.

“There's no single person we can point the finger at.”

It is easy to see why Stills is frustrated. He got off to a hot start to the 2018 campaign with a 100-yard, two-touchdown outing in the season opener. Unfortunately, his production has dwindled massively ever since. His lackluster numbers could be attributed to the change under center.

Miami began the year with quarterback Ryan Tannehill after missing last season with a devastating knee injury. He was then sidelined with a shoulder injury for five games that resulted in quarterback Brock Osweiler taking over the offense. He registered just five catches for 85 yards while Osweiler was the starter. However, not much changed for him in Tannehill's return last week when he recorded just one catch for six yards.

Although it is difficult to pinpoint Stills' lack of involvement Regardless, there is no question that the Dolphins will need to figure out a way to be much more consistent on offense if they hope to potentially secure a Wild Card spot.
