The Carolina Panthers currently have one of the best running backs in the NFL: soon-to-be third-year rusher Christian McCaffrey. Several younger members of the Panthers' roster remain primed to break out in 2019, including soon-to-be second-year wide receiver DJ Moore.

While DJ Moore certainly doesn't lack any confidence on the field, the up-and-coming pass catcher believes that he has even more talent to put on display next season. Clearly looking ahead to the 2019 campaign, Moore is now trying to make a similar improvement from his rookie to sophomore season atop the highest level, something that the aforementioned McCaffrey did just last season.

“We saw the jump that Christian had from Year 1 to Year 2,” Moore recently told Max Henson of the team's official website. “I’m looking to take the same jump. I know Curtis is looking to take the same jump from Year 2 to Year 3. Everybody is just trying to get better.”

Of course, the Panthers are still led by veteran quarterback and former NFL MVP Cam Newton while the trio of Newton, McCaffrey and Moore could become quite the formidable bunch in Carolina.

Unfortunately, for this trio, though, the NFC South remains one of the toughest divisions in football with both the Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints continuing to be legitimate threats in the NFC playoff picture. However, it is also worth noting that although they are dangerous at times, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers shouldn't be too much of a threat to the Panthers this season.
