John Harbaugh, Joe Flacco, and the Baltimore Ravens began the season looking like a serious contender in the AFC, but have since fallen off. After starting the year with a 3-1 record, the Ravens are now 4-4 and are quickly losing ground when it comes to the playoff picture. There is plenty of time to turn things around, but panic is beginning to set in.

Some have suggested that the Ravens could consider benching Flacco in favor of rookie quarterback Lamar Jackson. That is not something that Harbaugh is considering at this point in time.

According to Harbaugh in a press conference shared by Jamison Hensley of ESPN, the Ravens are going to continue starting Flacco but did admit that Jackson is a quarterback and will have to be considered at some point.

Baltimore is extremely high on Jackson, who has shown a lot of athleticism in very limited playing time. He has completed seven of his 12 pass attempts for 87 yards, a touchdown, and no interceptions.

Flacco, on the other hand, has completed 61.2 percent of his passes for 2,465 yards, 12 touchdowns, and six interceptions. He has looked good for the majority of the season. For once, Baltimore fans are actually not complaining so much about Flacco as they are about Harbaugh.

At 33 years old, Flacco still has three years left on his contract. More than likely, the Ravens will make the switch to Jackson before that point in time.

Expect to see the Ravens stick with Flacco for the remainder of the 2018 season. Throwing Jackson into the action at this point in the year could very well be a massive mistake.

While the Ravens have struggled a bit of late, they are still very much in the playoff race and making major changes right now would not be wise.
