During the week of the Pro Bowl, Russell Wilson didn't mince words as he stated that the Seattle Seahawks need to add more superstars. While speaking during the week of the NFL Combine, it was evident that Wilson's comments sparked a reaction from GM John Schneider.

“I agree,” Schneider said Liz Mathews of SeahawksWire on Tuesday during his combine press conference. “We all want superstars. We all want great players. I think Pete (Carroll) would say the same thing. I stay awake at night, my gut churns all the time thinking about how we can improve in every aspect of our football operation. We’re doing it non-stop, and we have been ever since we walked in the doors here, and we’ll keep it rolling.”

Last offseason, the Seahawks made a splash move to acquire Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans. Just a year later, Seattle has to decide on whether or not to re-sign Clowney in free agency.

Besides wanting Clowney back, Wilson is yearning for the Seahawks to add more superstars to the roster. Back in 2013 and 2014, Seattle made back-to-back Super Bowls with a stacked roster on both sides of the ball.

Despite having Wilson under center, the Seahawks have had a tough time putting together a contending roster around him ever since. However, this offseason, Seattle currently has $59.7 million in cap space available, according to Spotrac.

With that being said, the Seahawks are in a prime position to sign a couple of marquee players in free agency. At the least, it appears when Wilson speaks, Schneider and the Seahawks front office is listening.
