Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson added a prestigious endorsement to her growing portfolio, signing a multi-year deal with Gatorade on Tuesday. The two-time WNBA MVP joins a select group of women’s basketball stars endorsed by the iconic sports drink brand, including Caitlin Clark and Paige Bueckers.

“We’re thrilled about the addition of A’ja Wilson to our elite athlete roster ahead of the 2024 WNBA season,” Jeff Kearney, Gatorade’s head of sports marketing, said, as reported by  Mike Vorkunov of The Athletic. “A’ja has already had an outstanding career full of many accomplishments, and we’re excited to be fueling her as she furthers her impact within sport and beyond.”

Wilson will be featured in her first Gatorade campaign later this spring. The star forward has led the Aces to back-to-back WNBA championships and has earned multiple individual accolades, including two Defensive Player of the Year awards and five All-Star selections. The Aces are aiming for a three-peat as they kick off their season against the Phoenix Mercury.

Wilson, fresh off helping the Aces secure consecutive titles, is now one of Gatorade’s elite athletes, joining prominent figures like Serena Williams, Suni Lee and NBA star Luka Doncic. Her endorsement portfolio continues to expand, as she recently became the first female athlete to partner with Ruffles and the first WNBA player to sign with Mountain Dew. She also has a longstanding deal with Nike and recently released her first book, “Dear Black Girls.”

“Partnering with Gatorade is a dream come true,” Wilson said, per Nick Schultz of On3. “They’ve been fueling me on and off the court since I started out, and like I’ve said before – Gatorade helped me get my MVP, for sure.”
