Las Vegas Aces head coach Becky Hammon paid A'ja Wilson the ultimate complement on Monday. Hammon called Wilson the “GOAT of the GOATs” in full view of thousands of Aces fans during the WNBA Championship parade in Las Vegas, NV.

Becky Hammon couldn't even compare A'ja Wilson to any of the past and present NBA and WNBA legends. Hammon thinks Wilson exists in her own stratosphere.

“‘Cause she's that good. I'm trying to think of an NBA comp. I'm trying to think of a WNBA comp and there ain't nobody in the world like A'ja Wilson…who willed us on her back and said, ‘Hey, I'm about to put you on my back. Come on, follow me.' And we did…F–kin run that sh-t back!” Becky Hammon said.

A'ja Wilson carried the load for the Aces in their run to their second straight WNBA championship. Wilson became the first baller in WNBA playoff history to score at least 30 points in three straight games.

She also scored 26 points and grabbed 14 boards in the Aces' 70-69 win over the New York Liberty in Game 4 of the WNBA Finals. Although Las Vegas played without injured starters Chelsea Gray and Kiah Stokes, A'ja Wilson willed them to victory.

Becky Hammon's words carry a lot of weight considering she's a WNBA veteran, Gregg Popovich's coaching protege, and Hall of Famer. Hammon played against Lisa Leslie, Rebecca Lobo, Tamika Catchings, Cynthia Cooper, and Sheryll Swoopes, to name a few. She's seen it all in the NBA and WNBA. Calling A'ja Wilson the “GOAT of GOATs” is a tremendous compliment.
