Buffalo Bills wide receiver Keon Coleman is quite a character and has already captured the hearts of NFL fans — not just Bills fans — everywhere. He may also represent the Bills' new No. 1 receiver after Stefon Diggs' departure.

Coleman has a very outgoing, charming personality, and you can tell he is always going to be good for an amazing quote.

Take his recent appearance on The Adam Schefter Podcast, for example.

Schefter was asking Coleman about the AFC East heading into 2024, mentioning New York Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner and Miami Dolphins cornerback Jalen Ramsey as two star players he is going to be matched up against twice a year.

But apparently, other than the Jets, Coleman isn't even aware of who is in his own division.

“Now I really don’t know nothing about the division,” Coleman told Schefter. “Remind me, who are all in the division? I just know kind of like the Jets, us, don’t we have Pittsburgh I think?”

This created a rather hilarious exchange between Schefter and Coleman, where Coleman said he didn't even know how many teams were in each division.

Coleman will learn soon.

Coleman is well on his way to becoming everyone's favorite player in the NFL.

In his first press conference after being drafted, for example, Coleman bragged about his winter coat and explained to a reporter how you can get a great deal on a coat at Macy's by buying it out of season. Coleman specified that he buys his coats in the summer time and does his shipping one or two seasons ahead.

And then there was the moment when he told the Bills' coaching staff about his golfing prowess, referring to himself as “Tiger Wish-He-Could.”

You have to wonder how much of a role Coleman's infectious personality played in Buffalo selecting him with the 33rd overall pick of the NFL Draft late last month.

The 20-year-old began his collegiate career at Michigan State in 2021 and had a breakout year with the Spartans in his sophomore campaign, hauling in 58 receptions for 798 yards and seven touchdowns.

Coleman then transferred to Florida State, where he spent one season and caught 50 passes for 658 yards and 11 scores.

The Opelousas, La. native is certainly no burner, as he ran a 4.61-second 40-yard dash at the Scouting Combine. However, he possesses great size at 6-foot-3 and 213 pounds and has very good hands. He also has a high motor and, thanks much in part to his size, is great at winning jump balls and making contested catches.

The Bills are certainly going to need Coleman in 2024, as they subtracted their two top wide receivers in Diggs and Gabe Davis this offseason. They did sign Curtis Samuel and, most recently, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and Khalil Shakir is a nice piece. However, Buffalo lacks a true No. 1 at the position for Josh Allen. Allen was a major proponent of the Bills selecting Coleman, so maybe he could end up filling the No. 1 role in Buffalo's offense.

The Bills have won four straight AFC East division titles, but with an improved Jets squad and the Dolphins knocking on the door, things are about to get much tougher for Buffalo in 2024, especially after a rather rough free agency period.
