Jalen Suggs had one of the most memorable season in college basketball a year ago. Gonzaga sat atop the country with the No. 1 ranking all the way up until the National Championship. While they couldn't capture a perfect 32-0 season, a huge reason they got their was because of Suggs.

Now, Jalen Suggs is taking the next step by entering the 2021 NBA Draft. There isn't a soul in the world who has Suggs going anywhere below pick No. 5, and most have him as a lock to go in the top four of the draft.

Here are the two best destinations for Jalen Suggs in the 2021 NBA Draft.

1.) Toronto Raptors

The Raptors were able to slide their way into the No. 4 pick as a result of the NBA Draft Lottery. This is a team with loads of talent including Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet and others. Toronto had a down year, there's no getting around that but it should become more of an outlier season than the norm for the Raptors.

They'll have key decisions to make with pending free agents on their own roster, none bigger than what they plan on doing with Kyle Lowry. Lowry has been the pulse of the Raptors franchise for nine years now but he may end up elsewhere this offseason. Enter, Jalen Suggs.

Jalen Suggs would be an absolutely perfect fit alongside VanVleet.

Both like to handle the rock as the point guard but both play very well off the ball too. The amount of options Nick Nurse would have with those two sharing the lead-guard role would be endless.

Suggs is an incredibly smart player who doesn't make many mistakes. He has top tier athleticism compared to the other prospects in this draft class and there's not much he can't do on the floor.

His shot from the perimeter stands to get a little better but there's been glimmers of it being able to get to where it needs to be in the NBA.

On top of all the offense, Jalen Suggs is excellent defensively and willing to guard the opposing star. The Raptors have an array of pretty good defenders, adding Suggs would be a cherry on top.

Toronto was able to defy some of the NBA Draft Lottery odds by landing pick No. 4. Now, they'll keep their fingers crossed that Jalen Suggs falls to them because if he does, the Raptors will be squarely back on the map.

2.) Houston Rockets

Out of the most realistic options for Suggs, which includes the teams in the top 5 (Pistons, Rockets, Cavaliers, Raptors, Magic), the Rockets come in at number two for the best destination for Jalen Suggs.

It's somewhat by default but it would still be a great fit for both sides.

Cleveland has Collin Sexton and Darius Garland at guard and need to figure out the long term plans for Sexton.

In Orlando, the Magic are investing in Markelle Fultz, Cole Anthony (first round pick from 2020) and R.J. Hampton (another first round pick from 2020). All three play the point guard position.

The Rockets need help everywhere on their roster. Starting by getting a floor general who can create beautifully for himself and his teammates would be a heck of a start.

Jalen Suggs would come in and likely be the starting point guard for the Rockets from day one. John Wall isn't likely a part of the long term plans in Houston and the Rockets need a point guard for the long haul.

Houston's one really solid piece right now is Christian Wood. Suggs and Wood would be a nice one-two kick for the pick-and-roll offense for the Rockets. Woods can slip to the perimeter and shoot or roll down into the paint. Suggs added a nice floater to his game while at Gonzaga and we've seen how lethal that shot can be with what Trae Young has done this postseason.

While Cade Cunningham is likely to go No. 1 overall to the Detroit Pistons, the Rockets landing Suggs would have them just as excited. The floor is super high for Suggs and at worst, he projects to be an average starting guard in the NBA for a decade. That's a worst case scenario. The ceiling remains somewhat of a question which certainly isn't bad.

Houston will have a lot to figure out before they pick at No. 2 in the 2021 NBA Draft. Drafting Jalen Suggs would be a great destination for the Gonzaga guard.

Jalen Suggs will undoubtedly go in the top five of the NBA Draft. Where he ends up remains a mystery but, the Raptors would be the best fit for him.
