The Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a successful campaign in the 2020 NFL season, in large part because of the new faces that joined the team, including quarterback Tom Brady. Head coach Bruce Arians and his men made history as they finished with an 11-5 record and advanced to the Super Bowl stage to win the title on their home turf.

The Buccaneers definitely want to replicate the level of success that they've attained last season. However, it won't come easy as many teams have already reloaded their weapons in a bid to dethrone the reigning champions. In order to defend their title, the Buccaneers' main stars are expected to produce at a high level while also being complemented by underrated players who are aiming to exceed expectations next season.

Here are two sleepers who could make a greater impact for Tampa Bay in 2021:

1. Antonio Brown

It might be easy for many Buccaneers fans to overlook the presence of wide receiver Antonio Brown, especially with the multitude of offensive weapons that the Buccaneers currently have at their disposal. The downhill trajectory that his career previously went through also caused many fans to not expect much production from him last season.

Coming in as a midseason acquisition, Brown appeared in eight games and recorded 483 receiving yards on 45 receptions and four touchdowns. Those statistics may be a far cry from the numbers that he used to produce during his All-Pro days but he should still be given credit for his contributions to their championship run, especially after seeing the hurdles that he overcame just to make it back to the league.

The Buccaneers won't dare to bring him back for another tour of duty if he didn't have a positive impact on the team last season. Heading to his second campaign in Tampa Bay, many people still continue to write him off as they expect Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, and Rob Gronkowski to get most of the passes from Tom Brady next season.

However, having a full offseason of preparation with the Bucs and playing alongside a quarterback who is already more acclimated to the team's playbook will definitely help the comeback bid of Antonio Brown in 2021.

2. Mike Edwards

Selected with the 99th pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, safety Mike Edwards was able to immediately carve a role for himself in just his first year in the pros. He was named a starter in 7 of 15 total games played back in 2019 which allowed him to be productive on the field and live up to the billing of a third-round draft pick.

Heading to his sophomore campaign in 2020, it was expected that Edwards would have an increased role within the team's secondary due to his performance in his rookie season. Unfortunately, it didn't go as expected as the Buccaneers brought in another talented safety in Antoine Winfield Jr. who took most of his snaps last season.

Edwards eventually came off the bench through all 16 games in 2020 as he racked up meager numbers of 11 total tackles and five pass deflections without a sack recorded for the Buccaneers. However, he did manage to show up at the right time as he had timely contributions in their playoff games against the Green Bay Packers and Kansas City Chiefs.

Though he only saw limited action all throughout their 2020 campaign, the former Kentucky talent was still able to make the most out of the opportunities that he received last season. Upon entering year three of his young career, Edwards can still bounce back and regain the role that he once had if he manages to make a good impression in this year's offseason preparations.

Given his level of talent and promising potential, there is no doubt that he can still exceed his previous performance and prove to many that he can make a valuable impact on the team once more moving forward.
