The running back position is one to seriously keep an eye out for in Week 11 of the fantasy football season. There are a good amount of names to pay attention to. It's time to continue our 2021 fantasy football series with a breakdown on the running back position.

There are some names that are appearing on the waiver wire that might not catch your eye, but you need to consider them for Week 11. Some starters remain out with injuries and bye weeks are still happening. The fantasy playoffs are approaching and it's time to lock-in. Let's take a look at the six running backs fantasy owners should consider starting or benching in Week 11.

Fantasy Football Start ‘Em

James Conner – Arizona Cardinals

James Conner is more than likely going to end the season with the most rushing touchdowns. The Cardinals display a great offense and continue to put Conner in positions to be successful. He should continue to start on your fantasy football team as he shouldn't slow down any time soon.

The Cardinals will face the 31st-ranked Seattle Seahawks defense against the run on Sunday. This should be another great game for Conner who is likely going to find himself in the endzone again.

AJ Dillon – Green Bay Packers

In the first real start of AJ Dillon's career, he played very well against the Seahawks. He ran it 21 times for 66 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 62 yards. Dillon is one of those names fantasy owners need to consider for Week 11 with the absence of Aaron Jones. Dillon already found himself on a good amount of fantasy teams but now he is in line to start for many.

The Packers face the 22nd-ranked Minnesota Vikings defense on Sunday. This should be another solid game for Dillon where he will take on a ton of carries.

Rhamondre Stevenson – New England Patriots

Even if fellow teammate Damien Harris plays this Thursday night, Stevenson should lead the team in carries. Stevenson had the game of his life against the Cleveland Browns where he torched them for 100 yards and two touchdowns. On a short week, he could very well repeat his performance.

Stevenson will take on the Atlanta Falcons who are ranked 30th against the run. There shouldn't be a reason why he doesn't repeat play well even if Harris plays. Stevenson is a force on the field and could turn into a great running back in this league.

Running Backs Sit ‘Em

Clyde Edwards-Helaire – Kansas City Chiefs

Edwards-Helaire is likely to return to action this week. With the way Darrel Williams played against the Raiders, it's not smart to start him. Williams went off for nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown from the running back position. It's going to be difficult for Edwards-Helaire to come back and take back all those reps.

The Chiefs will face the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday who are ranked seventh against the run. That is another sign to keep him Edwards-Helaire out of your lineup for this week. He is coming off of the IR with a knee injury and coach Andy Reid said there is a good chance of him returning. I believe the Chiefs will stick with Williams for as long as they can.

Adrian Peterson – Tennessee Titans

The Adrian Peterson experiment is off to an interesting start for the Titans. He isn't much of a fantasy football player anymore but will be a great leader for the Titans as they are in control of the AFC. He ran the ball for just 21 yards on eight carries last week.

The Titans will take on the Houston Texans on Sunday who are ranked 23rd against the run. That is a favorable number for Peterson but he won't produce much. Other RB Jeremy McNichols should earn more reps and that will take away a good amount from Peterson.

Damien Harris – New England Patriots

Harris is on his way back from a concussion he suffered in Week 9 against the Carolina Panthers. He missed last week's game and that allowed Stevenson to break out. The Patriots love to rotate their backs a ton and so it's safe to say the Patriots are going to slowly get Harris back out there. Stevenson should lead the team in carries this week and so Harris should not be considered for your fantasy team.

The Patriots take on the Falcons on Thursday night. Even with the favorable matchup, Harris shouldn't come back and dominate. He may score a touchdown but earning more than 10-15 carries will be difficult.
