Why the Tom Brady & Aaron Rodgers will win The Match 6

None of the competitors at The Match 6 are seasoned pros, which is why the majority of the betting public will likely base their judgment — whether intentionally or subliminally — on what they know most about the players, and that's football. It doesn't sound logical, but sometimes, that's just how many casual bettors think. And in this case, Brady and Rodgers have more success in football than their opponents and a lot of them are going to influence the way they see this matchup.

That being said, there's a more logical reason why the odds favor the duo of Brady and Rodgers even though Brady has not won this event in three tries. For one, Rodgers might just be the one to stop Brady's run of misfortunes at  The Match. Rodgers is said to have a 4.6 handicap. Brady, on the other hand, has seven Super Bowl rings where he can hide his so-so handicap of 8.1.  Moreover, Rodgers is also not a stranger to success atThe Match. Back in 2021, Rodgers and the hard-driving Bryson DeChambeau defeated the pair of Phil Mickelson and Brady to the tune of a 3-2 score.

Why the Josh Allen& Patrick Mahomes will win The Match 6

Allen and Mahomes, like their opponents at The Match 6, don't really need an introduction. These are the young guns who are and will be the faces of the NFL for years to come. It would also be quite interesting to see Allen and Mahomes teaming up on a different field months after they played against each other in that memorable and extremely bonkers showdown in the 2022 AFC divisional round. And now, here they are, on a mission to take down the old guys. For Mahomes, it seems that he is just as used to hitting drives on the golf course as he is to hitting open wide receivers downfield. In a 2021 interview with Golf.com, Mahomes revealed that “Golf has become a huge part of everything.”

As for the more tangible aspect of his golfing abilities, Mahomes is said to have a handicap of 7.7, which is at least better than Brady — and Allen. Speaking of the Bills quarterback, Allen has the worst handicap among the four signal-callers, with a 9.0 mark. Nevertheless, it could be Allen who could deliver the most surprising performance, in part because of his power. His strong arm could power his drives flying out there. When Allen played at the 2022 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, he had drives that went 310 to 315 yards. Allen also has quite the experience playing exhibition golf tournaments. Apart from the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, he also took part in the 2019 Jim Kelly Celebrity Golf Classic and played at the 2019 Maxfli Closest to the Pin Contest.

Final Tom Brady & Aaron Rodgers-Josh Allen & Patrick Mahomes The Match 6

Having lost three times already in The Match competitions, it sounds as though Tom Brady is due to win it. Aaron Rodgers is objectively the best golfer from both pairs. Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen are not that big underdogs here, so it's going to be tempting as well to lay action on them, but with such an unpredictable set of players with thin golf backgrounds, I will just have to go with the favorites. #GoOldGuys
