Leonard Fournette is one of 26 players on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers entering free agency this offseason. The 27-year-old running back is coming off of his one-year,$3,250,000 contract with the Buccaneers. The deal included $3,250,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $3,250,000, according to Spotrac.

Now, the star running back is on the market and looking for his next place of employment. Plenty of teams are on the market to improve their run game, and Fournette would be a great addition to any roster. He recorded 812 yards and eight rushing touchdowns in only 14 regular season games. Fournette also adds to his offense's air game. He had 69 receptions for 454 yards and two touchdowns for the Buccaneers.

Here are the top three landing spots for the versatile running back as a free agent in the 2022 NFL Offseason.

3. The Houston Texans

The Houston Texans struggled this season, finishing at third in the AFC South with a record of 4-13. One of the main problems with the franchise is its lack of a solid run game. In fact, the Texans ranked last in the league in rushing yards in the regular season with 1,422. That's an average of 83.6 rushing yards each game, stats courtesy of StatMuse.

As one of the top running backs in the free agency, Fournette would be the perfect player to amp up the Texans' run game. The top two running backs for Houston are both 30 years old. At 27, Fournette could provide both youth and experience to the run game as the top running back for the Texans.

2. The Philadelphia Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles quickly established themselves as the most dominant rushing team in the league. Quarterback Jalen Hurts led the team to a playoff run as the most productive piece of the Eagles' ground game. He recorded 784 rushing yards and ten touchdowns in his first season as the Eagles starting quarterback.

The Eagles also have a lot of options to strengthen their roster this offseason. They have plenty of cap space and three first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. They could either trade for a veteran running back, draft one, or sign a free agent. If they choose to sign Fournette this offseason, he would be a perfect fit as the starting running back in Philadelphia.

1. The Buffalo Bills

The Buffalo Bills offense is widely dominated by the passing game. In fact, one of the most productive rushers on the team is quarterback Josh Allen. He recorded 763 rushing yards and six rushing touchdowns, only behind running back Devin Singletary.

Fournette would be a great addition to this team for two reasons. One, he would be a great piece to compliment Singletary, who is under contract until 2023. The two would make a dynamic duo for the Bills' run game and deepen their offensive threat beyond just passing.

Also, Fournette is familiar with winning. The Bills have a lot of potential and made it to the Divisional Round this offseason. The recent Super Bowl champion works well under pressure and knows what it takes to win it all. His playoff experience would greatly benefit the Bills as they make another run for the Lombardi Trophy next season.
