Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has been the subject of recent trade rumors. Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has made it clear that the franchise isn't planning on dealing Metcalf, though he also made it clear that they weren't planning on trading former quarterback Russell Wilson, a take that hasn't aged well in the slightest. The fact of the matter is, if Seattle is presented with an offer they can't refuse for Metcalf, they'll take it, a sentiment that is supported by recent reports. There's also the matter of Metcalf's contract. The 24-year-old is about to enter the final year of his rookie contract, and he might not want to stick around if the Seahawks are entering a lengthy rebuild. Rather than potentially lose him for nothing next offseason, the Seahawks could look to deal Metcalf right now, in an offseason where the price for a talented playmaker has seemingly increased.

But where could Metcalf end up if he is traded? There are still teams out there who would love to acquire an athletic and physical wideout like the Seahawks star. That said, here are the three best destinations for Metcalf if the Seahawks decide to deal him.

3 Best Trade Destinations For DK Metcalf

3. Ravens

Wide receiver isn't necessarily a need for the Ravens, though that didn't stop the speculation regarding the franchise and talented-yet-embattled wideout Antonio Brown. If quarterback Lamar Jackson was interested in Brown, what would he think of an ascending talent like Metcalf? The 24-year-old has never posted less than 900 yards in three NFL seasons and authored an incredible sophomore effort back in 2019, making the Pro Bowl while exceeding the 1300-yard mark. At 6-feet 4 and 235 pounds, Metcalf would give Jackson the big, alpha-type target he has lacked in recent years. The Seahawks star could help Baltimore take their offense to the next level.

2. Packers

The Packers dealt star wideout Davante Adams to the Las Vegas Raiders and watched as free agent Marquez Valdes-Scantling departed for the Kansas City Chiefs. Acquiring the Seahawks star would help to offset those losses. Green Bay is armed with two draft picks in the first round this year. If the franchise could draft a speedy wideout this year and trade for Metcalf, they would instantly have a revamped wide receiver room for Aaron Rodgers. One can imagine Rodgers and Metcalf enjoying the same kind of chemistry that the former had with Adams during his time in Green Bay.

1. Jets

The Jets watched as the two top wideouts who were potentially available this offseason, Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill, were traded. Hill was even traded in their own division to the Miami Dolphins. New York can't afford to let another skilled receiver pass them by. Metcalf, 24, is already regarded as one of the best young receivers in the league but still has room to get even better. He would instantly be second-year pro Zach Wilson's favorite target and would form an exciting young duo with Elijah Moore. The Jets need to find Wilson a reliable target to help him further develop. Metcalf would be that guy.
