There was some concern with the San Francisco 49ers when George Kittle sat out of Wednesday's practice due to an ankle issue. Despite the concern, Kittle is set to take part in a full practice on Thursday with the 49ers.

Earlier in the season, Kittle suffered what was being called a broken ankle against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 9. Even though he suffered the injury, he managed to finish the game against the Cardinals and catch a touchdown.

However, the All-Pro tight end would miss the 49ers' next two games due to the injury. Now, it seems that Kittle is still bothered by the injury that cost him two games in the regular season. But with the Green Bay Packers up next in the playoffs, Kittle isn't going to miss a game unless his ankle is falling off.

For the second straight season, Kittle was one of the best tight ends in the NFL. The third-year tight end finished the season with 85 receptions for 1,053 yards and five touchdowns. As a result, he was named an All-Pro for the first time in his young career.

The versatile pass-catcher took part in his first career playoff game last week against the Minnesota Vikings. In San Francisco's 17-point victory, Kittle hauled in only three receptions for 16 yards. The 49ers didn't need to throw the ball much as they gashed Minnesota's defense for 186 rushing yards.

It's safe to say that Kittle is still being somewhat hindered by his ankle issue in the postseason.

When San Francisco's season comes to an end, it wouldn't come as a surprise if Kittle undergoes surgery in the offseason on his ankle.
