Formerly of the New York Jets, among a bunch of other teams, Antonio Cromartie is currently a star in a reality show. However, that's not the big news coming out of his camp as of late. Instead, it is that Antonio Cromartie is claiming he is being blackballed by the National Football League over protests.

“I’m not going to say ‘part’ of the reason. That is THE reason,” Cromartie told Evan Grossman of the New York Daily News. “My play wasn’t part of it. I still feel that way after a whole entire year.”

For those not keeping track, the previous year Cromartie took issue with Indinapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay's comments over the national anthem not being the right time to protest. He lasted played for the Colts.

“I think it’s the wrong venue,” Irsay said last year. “It hasn’t been a positive thing. What we all have to be aware of as players, owners, PR people, equipment managers, is when the lights go on we are entertainment. We are being paid to put on a show. There are other places to express yourself.”

Here was the corner's social media response:

“They say it’s not the right place or venue to do what is right and stand for what is right,” Cromartie wrote last year. “I guarantee that most of the people that’s sending me hate messages don’t even know the top 2 members that are leading in this country in homelessness. Well let me educate you. #1 Veterans #2 Children. But you guys care so much about the people that fought for this country. It’s crazy while I was Indiana I had a chance to talk to some veterans that didn’t have a problem with me taking a knee. Because they understood my reason behind it. I thank them my grandfather and my friends for their support who also served this country.”

Do you guys think he is being blackballed over that or are there less nefarious reasons?
