While the battle royale side of Apex Legends has welcomed the launch of the Raiders Collection event, dataminers have unearthed brand new information on a possible map for Arenas, the game's 3v3 mode. The map, named ‘Habitat', could come out anytime in the near future, though Respawn has not officially confirmed anything yet. However, leakers that spilled the beans on this new map have so far been reliable and Apex Legends fans have free rein to get excited about this new Arenas map.

Apex dataminer KralRindo first posted evidence of the new Habitat map on Tuesday, revealing the amazing concept art on Twitter. Meanwhile, another leaker, Shrutgal, found another load screen of the map. This one shows three large eggs, and given all the luscious greens teeming in the area, players might expect something similar to Storm Point in the battle royale mode where you can take down wildlife.

Not only that, but KralRindo also discovered the map's layout. From the sneak peek, this Arenas map seems to feature some elevated land areas that players can climb for a different vantage point during matches. In this tropical setting, the map also contains waterforms—a large river as well as smaller bodies of water—that you can drop into. Habitat's unique landscape elements could bring new dynamics to the Arenas game mode in Apex Legends.

Here's what the Habitat minimap looks like.

While awaiting official word from Respawn, you can start getting excited about what this new map might bring to Apex Legends Arenas mode. Hopefully, it could get released in this current season, but Habitat might also be part of the plans for Season 12 instead.
