The No. 22 Auburn Tigers beat the LSU Tigers in Death Valley for the first time since 1999 on Saturday night, with quarterback Bo Nix leading a heroic comeback. Auburn scored 14 unanswered points in the fourth quarter and scored the game-winning touchdown with 3:11 to play to cap off a 92-yard drive, making it a 24-19 final score.

Things weren't looking good for Auburn after falling behind 13-0 in the first half, but Nix made some magic happen to finally get them on the board. This is one of the best highlights you'll see in college football all year:

Nix's reaction to this play and all his running around in general was perfect, via ESPN:

“I haven’t run around like this in a while,” Nix said. “I’m going to sleep well when I get home.”

Despite that effort, Auburn was still down 19-10 entering the fourth quarter, but everything changed in that final quarter. Nix scored a rushing touchdown to make it 19-17 before that long game-winning drive in the final minutes.

Needless to say, Nix was pumped up about the win:

“Tonight was a blast. I came in this week with a different mindset and just to be a competitor,” Nix said. “I just went back to what got me here. I didn’t know how it was going to go, but I wanted to come in here focused and compete like crazy and do whatever it took.”

Nix completed 23-of-44 passes for 255 yards and also rushed for 74 yards. His legs frustrated LSU all night long and helped secure the victory.

These Nix heroics came after he was pulled in the last game against Georgia State. The quarterback has been a bit of a roller-coaster ride, but the thrills were certainly there on Saturday night at Tiger Stadium.
