It's been a horrific Thursday across the world as the news broke that Vladimir Putin and Russia attacked Ukraine by land, air, and sea. People in the country are trying to flee as quickly as possible, but it's extremely dangerous at the moment. Lots of support has poured in from social media for Ukraine, with Barcelona and Napoli coming together as one prior to their Europa League clash on Wednesday.

“Stop War” was the message and that couldn't be any more true right now. Putin sent countless troops into Ukraine and it's been an absolute nightmare, especially in the capital of Kyiv. The last thing Europe needs is a full-blown war, so this message from the Barcelona and Napoli players certainly hits home.

Ukrainian international Ruslan Malinovskyi, who plays for Atalanta, helped the Serie A outfit cruise to 3-0 victory over Olympiacos on Thursday and after he scored, the youngster revealed a powerful message on his undershirt about the happenings in his homeland:

As for the Barcelona-Napoli match, the Spaniards are currently up 3-1 at halftime and 4-2 on aggregate. Everyone is praying for Ukraine in these trying times, but it's good to see these teams joining forces to make their voices heard. Many world leaders are supporting Ukraine. Russia has also been stripped of the Champions League final in Saint Petersburg because of their actions.
