Bayern Munich has secured yet another trophy in what has been a record-breaking season for the European giants.

Hansi Flick's side took down Mexican outfit Tigres UANL in the Final of the FIFA Club World Cup on Thursday in Doha, Qatar. Frenchman Benjamin Pavard broke the deadlock in the 59th minute with a goal that was initially ruled offside, but then overturned after the call went to VAR.

It was a dominant performance from Bayern, who enjoyed the majority of possession in this fixture. Although it wasn't a very convincing scoreline at just 1-0, the Germans added another piece of hardware to their trophy case. Flick's men beat Egypt-based side Al-Ahyar in the Semifinals on Monday behind Robert Lewandowski's brace.

Bayern is just the second team ever to win six trophies in one year after already winning the Bundesliga, Champions League, DFB-Pokal, German Super Cup, UEFA Super Cup, and now, the Club World Cup as well. The only other side to pull off this miraculous feat was Barcelona in 2009.

As for this current season, Munich is again one of the finest clubs on the planet. They sit seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga ahead of RB Leipzig and are preparing for the return of Champions League football, with the Round of 16 beginning next week.

Bayern will face Lazio in the knockout stages on February 23rd and currently have the best odds to repeat as the champions of Europe alongside Manchester City.

Although it's unlikely Bayern Munich can win another six trophies this season, there is little doubt they will collect a few more at the very least.
