Chicago Bears head coach Matt Nagy provided a little insight into the Bears struggles, but kept much to the imagination. Patrick Finley of the Chicago Sun Times gave us the brief thought.

The Bears have lost four games in a row, after starting the season 3-2. They sit in 3rd place of the NFC North, only ahead of the winless Detroit Lions.

Matt Nagy is not known for being too colorful, but this lack of detail takes it up a level. If you watch the Bears play, it's pretty clear that a lot of people need to play better and coach better.

But, that's looking more like a coaching and offense kind of thing. Chicago is among the league leaders in penalties, having been flagged 75 times. The Bears defense has played pretty well and kept them in a lot of games this season.

Like most teams, the Bears have dealt with their fair share of injuries. Starting running back David Montgomery missed just over a month with a knee sprain he suffered back in Week 4.

He returned in the Bears most recent game vs the Pittsburgh Steelers, but struggled to get anything going on the ground.

Wide receiver has also been an issue for Chicago. Allen Robinson has looked like a shell of himself this season. He has 30 catches on 50 targets for only 339 yards. It was thought that tight end Cole Kmet was going to take a big step forward this year. That has failed to materialize.

But much of the offensive struggles are because of the quarterback position. Veteran Andy Dalton did not play well to start the season. Matt Nagy then turned to let Justin Fields, the 1st round pick in this past NFL Draft. Fields has failed to impress thus far. He has thrown four touchdown passes to eight interceptions, and is completing just 59% of his passes.

It is definitely fair to say the Bears need to improve in a lot of areas.
