It's looking like free-agent wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson could end up back in the NFC North.

Not only are the Green Bay Packers looking at Patterson, but the Chicago Bears could join the fray, as Tom Pelissero of NFL Network is reporting that the Bears might also pursue the versatile wide out.

Patterson spent the 2018 campaign with the New England Patriots, hauling in 21 receptions for 247 yards and three touchdowns while carrying the ball 42 times for 228 yards and a score. In addition, he returned 23 kicks for 663 yards and a touchdown.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Tennessee, was originally selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round (29th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

He made an immediate impact during his rookie season, catching 45 passes for 469 yards while reaching the end zone four times. Plus, he scored three rushing touchdowns and punched in a couple of kick return scores en route to a Pro Bowl appearance and a First-Team All-Pro selection.

Patterson continued to display his versatility in his sophomore campaign, snaring 33 balls for 384 yards and a score, carrying the ball 10 times for 117 yards and a touchdown and returning 34 kicks for 871 yards.

The following season, Patterson played mainly on special teams, posting a pair of kick return scores. Then, in 2016, his final season with the Vikings, he made another trip to Honolulu and notched First-Team All-Pro honors again after registering 52 catches for 453 yards and two touchdowns and taking back 25 kicks for 792 yards and a score.

Patterson then spent one year with the Oakland Raiders before joining the Patriots and winning a Super Bowl title this past season.
