Trubisky had a disappointing season, throwing 516 passes for 3,138 yards and 10 interceptions. Trubisky's future with the Bears will depend heavily on his production in 2020.
General manager Ryan Pace has already expressed that Trubisky will start in 2020. However, it's not guaranteed as Pace will seek to find a veteran QB to bring in competition.
There will be plenty of veteran QB's available this offseason such as Teddy Bridgewater, Andy Dalton, and Marcus Mariota. Backup QB's Chase Daniel and Tyler Bray will be unrestricted free agents and most likely won't be resigned this offseason.
Nonetheless, the Bears will need to improve tremendously on their offense this offseason in order to compete in 2020. Their offense suffered a disappointing season as they were 29th in the league in yards per game (296.8). In addition, they were 25th in the league in passing yards per game (205.7).
Nonetheless, it'll be interesting to see what Pace decides to do this offseason.
