The entire Chicago Bears fanbase will be holding its breath after rookie quarterback Justin Fields left Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with an apparent injury. Fields took a hit on a run during the third quarter but remained in the game. Shortly after, however, Fields was seen heading to the locker room with members of Chicago's medical staff.

Bears backup quarterback Andy Dalton was seen warming up on the sideline and is set to replace Fields if he can't return. The Bears PR team indicated that Fields was questionable to return to the game due to a ribs injury.

The Bears were unable to get any points on the board against the Ravens during the first half. The team trailed 6-0 when Fields left the field. Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was also inactive for the game as he's dealing with an illness, prompting the team to elevate Tyler Huntley to the starting role.

Prior to exiting the game, Fields had completed 4-of-11 pass attempts for 79 yards and had rushed four times for 23 yards. He had no touchdowns or interceptions in the game.

Fields got his first chance for the Bears after Dalton went down with an injury in Week 2. The roles have reversed here in Week 11, where it's Dalton being called upon to replace the ailing rookie.

Dalton is in his first season with the Bears, having been acquired this offseason. He started the first two games of the season but has served as a backup to Fields since then.
