The Chicago Bears had a tough time in Week 15 for a few reasons. One, they lost to the Minnesota Vikings 17-9. Two, the loss officially knocked them out of playoff contention. Three, quarterback Justin Fields suffered an ankle injury. According to Bears reporter Brad Biggs, Fields was limited in the Bears' indoor walk-through practice on Wednesday.

This is bad news for Fields, who has dealt with injuries all season. The rookie quarterback also suffered a scary helmet-to-helmet hit in the fourth quarter of their loss to the Vikings. The hit from Eric Kendricks was clearly dirty, resulting in immediate ejection of the linebacker.

Bears quarterback Andy Dalton wasn't even available for the short week walk-through. PFF reporter Ari Meirov tweeted that he is still on Chicago's COVID-19 list.

Fields was limited in Wednesday's walk-through, but he has shown strength and grit the entire season. In his first year in the league, Fields has suffered and come back from multiple injuries, including rib fractures and bruising to his left hand.

While he might be able to recover in time to finish out the season, it seems unlikely that he will. This season has taken a huge toll of Fields physically. With no postseason games in the Bears' future this season, they would be smart to keep him on the bench for the last three games.
