The Chicago Bears are looking to turn things around in 2022 and make a run at the playoffs with a new head coach at the helm in Matt Eberflus. But, their ultimate success will certainly come down to how quarterback Justin Fields plays. After a sub-par rookie campaign, the hope is that Eberflus can help the ex-Ohio State standout thrive in his offensive system.

Well, it appears Fields is very focused on being in tip-top shape. He was recently putting in absolute work with his trainer, which is a great sight to see for Bears fans.

Via ClutchPoints:

Justin Fields is looking very fit and has put a focus on getting his body right. The bigger and stronger he is, the better he'll play in 22′. In 12 games last season (10 starts), Fields threw for 1,870 yards but just seven touchdowns. He was also picked off 10 times and sacked 36 times. That came down to the Bears' atrocious offensive line that struggled to give him any type of consistent coverage.

If Justin Fields lives up to expectations, QB1 is his spot. But, Trevor Siemian will be breathing down his neck looking for the opportunity to play as well. Fields was also seen last week out in Houston training with Deshaun Watson, Heisman Trophy favorite C.J. Stroud, and Tennessee Titans rookie Malik Willis.

The hope is that Fields can build more chemistry with his receiving corps next season, especially Darnell Mooney, who is expected to have a big role. Chicago fans are dying for a franchise QB and although Year 1 wasn't great, it's clear Justin Fields is committed to doing all it takes to be the best he can possibly be. You love to see it.
