Jordan Howard was a good teammate for the Chicago Bears, and a lot of players including Kyle Long are really sad to see him leave. After finding out about the trade Long took to Twitter to question exactly what was happening.

A couple of minutes later, Long took to Twitter to explain his thoughts a bit more and said how much he is going to miss Howard.

“I’m happy Jordan went from one good team to another he deserves to win! Philly you’re gonna love him,” Long wrote. Hey [Eagles offensive linemen Lane Johnson and Brandon Brooks] y’all got a great player and a better guy. Take care of head ass for me.”

Howard burst onto the scene as a rookie in 2016, rushing for 1,313 yards and six touchdowns. The last couple of years he was still strong but the Bears also had Tarik Cohen and he started to crowd the backfield. Last year, Howard rushed for 935 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Bears signed Mike Davis and the team must think he is enough to replace Howard's production out of the backfield. Last year with the Seahawks, Davis rushed 112 times for 514 yards and four touchdowns.

Even if Davis can replace his production on the field, Howard's personality is going to be missed in the locker room. The Eagles only had to give up a sixth-round draft pick that can turn into a fifth-round draft pick, and they have to be happy with the return. The Eagles have had trouble finding a solid running back to lean on, and the hope is that Howard is that guy.
