With the Chicago Bears not finding much luck on the offensive side of the ball, head coach Matt Nagy has relinquished his play-calling duties ahead of a Week 10 bout against the Minnesota Vikings, according to NBCS Chicago's J.J. Stankevitz. Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor will take over the duties of play-calling.

The Bears have had a plethora of miscued fires on offense this season, and haven't found much success with a two-quarterback system with Nick Foles and Mitchell Trubisky. Their coming into Week 10 with a three-game losing streak against a few formidable opponents, though that doesn't tell the full story of their season. Nagy has come under fire in recent weeks about his play-calling duties, specifically after Foles took over as quarterback.

Foles has only turned in a 48.6 quarterback rating this season. While the argument can be made as to whether or not Foles is a better option as a starter than Trubisky, the Bears offensive woes continue after having a hot start to the season.

The Bears have had a comparable offensive stat line to the New York Jets, averaging only 4.8 yards per play, which is an embarrassment to say the least. All of the discombobulation had once led Nagy to admit that their had been inside discussions about the his role as the play-caller in future matchups.

It seems that the Bears are no longer willing to take any more risks with the season reaching over it halfway point, leaving the Bears a small time frame in order to turn the season around.
