The Cincinnati Bengals will be without tackle Cordy Glenn on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars as the team has suspended him for a game according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media.

Glenn was cleared on Wednesday from the concussion protocol but according to Pro Football Talk, he feels like he was pressured by the team to come back before he was ready to.

Per multiple sources, the Bengals and Glenn have been at odds regarding the concussion, its symptoms, whether he’s able to return, the need for second opinions, and how the player feels. At some point, the situation prompted the Bengals to fine Glenn $200,000 for conduct detrimental to the team.

On Wednesday, Glenn and a member of the training staff got into an argument and a witness at one point thought it was going to turn physical. After the altercation, Glenn told Bengals coach Zac Taylor that he wanted to be cut.

When asked about the situation Thursday, Taylor said it was an internal discipline matter that was going to be handled inside the building. It's unclear if something has changed or Taylor just felt the best way to handle it now was to give him a one-game suspension.

Glenn hasn't publicly commented on the situation but if he is this frustrated over the situation, getting suspended for a game can't be sitting well with him.

It's hard to imagine that a one-game suspension is going to fix the situation and it wouldn't be surprising to see this situation get worse before it gets better.
