The Cincinnati Bengals, like the rest of the league, are preparing for the 2022 NFL Draft. Just two years ago, Cincinnati selected Joe Burrow in the first round, a decision that changed the team entirely.

The Bengals went from a team that hadn't won a playoff game in 31 years, to a team just points away from being Super Bowl champions.

Tuesday morning, NFL on CBS tweeted a question that inspired fans and former athletes to choose the #1 No. 1 pick in NFL Draft history.

Many Twitter users replied with iconic names like Peyton Manning in 1998 and John Elway in 1983. However, Chad Johnson went in a completely different direction, crowning Burrow as the sole answer.

The former Bengals wide receiver tweeted his hot take just moments after the question was posted Tuesday morning.

Burrow is one of the main reasons that the Bengals franchise is back on track. However, he hasn't accomplished anything yet compared to other first round picks. Manning is a two-time Super Bowl champion, Super Bowl MVP, and was named NFL Most Valuable Player five times throughout his 18-season career.

There's a possibility that Johnson could be considering the potential Burrow showed in only a couple of years in the league. He only has two years under his belt as an NFL quarterback. Not to mention, his rookie season was cut short due to a season-ending ACL tear.

Regardless, many great football players have come from the No. 1 pick in the draft, so it's really hard to pick just one.

Last year, the Jacksonville Jaguars secured franchise quarterback Trevor Lawrence with the first pick. And, the Jags have another opportunity to select another great player with the first pick in the 2022 NFL Draft on Thursday.
